CUSTOM ORDER FOR: Montana Paper Company
Thank you for choosing Marbled Paper Studio.
The investment for a 160 fully custom, artisan-designed printed papers is $491.00 and is broken down as follows:
Consultation/Set-Up/Shipping: $195
• Consultation: We will kick off the project with one 30-minute consultation via Zoom to discuss the project scope, pattern design and colors, and schedule. Date and time to be scheduled after receipt of payment.
• Pattern Design: During this phase I will set up a custom marbling session to create a marbled pattern specifically for your project. This involves paper preparation, custom color mixing and pattern refinement. Paper will be dried and pressed before digitizing for printing file setup.
• Samples: Two digital samples will be provided for review and approval (additional samples will incur a fee) before setting up a printer's proof. Upon selection, a digital proof of ONE will be provided prior to printing. Client will need to approved the proof prior to printing. Physical samples will not be provided.
160 Individual Printed Sheets: $296 ($1.85 per sheet)
• Artist will create one original from which PRINTED sheets will be created. Papers provided to client are printed designs, not original hand marbled papers.
• Sheets will be identical (standard range, non-metallic design).
• Papers will measure 8 1/2 x 11.
• 70# uncoated paper
Shipping: Standard shipping of final product is included. Shipping to client no later than January 27, 2025.
Current lead-time: The project will commence in early 2025. Final order will be shipped to client no later than January 27, 2025.
Additional Terms:
• Client acknowledges that custom orders are final sale (no returns or exchanges).
• Marbled Paper Studio retains all rights to all patterns sold.
• Commissioned designs are not exclusive to the client. Original artwork is retained by the artist.
• Patterns cannot be reproduced without license. Inquire within for licensing opportunities.
Additional Information:
- Original hand marbled designs: If you are purchasing multiples of one sheet please note that they will be similar but not identical. Due to the hand marbled process, no two are exactly the same.
- Our maker's mark logo is stamped on the reverse side of each full and half size sheet identifying it as an authentic piece hand marbled in our studio. There may also be pencil or pen marks on the reverse side identifying which side we should marble. After being marbled, sheets are typically numbered on the back in pencil noting the paper size and style number. This information is not visible from the front of the paper. These characteristics are indicative of an authentic original piece of hand marbled paper. We feel that these add to the artisan quality of the product and the unique charm of the handmade process.
- Due to the wet nature of the marbling process there may be traces of paint on the reverse side. This characteristic is also indicative of an authentic original piece of hand marbled paper that adds to the artisan quality and the unique charm of the handmade process.
- We prioritize transparency and strive to provide accurate product listings and pictures. However, we cannot guarantee that colors will appear the same on all monitors, as this is beyond our control. If you have questions about pattern or color, please contact us before placing an order.
- All of our designs are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced without license. Unless prior arrangements have been made, Marbled Paper Studio retains all rights to all patterns sold, including in-stock purchases and commissioned projects.
