Two great patterns in one bundle!
The first pattern is a delicate arched pattern in light blue, green, tan, and ivory. The second pattern is known as the Spanish Wave. According to marbling folklore, this design emerged when a Spanish marbler, after a night of drinking, returned to the studio and laid the paper onto the marbling tray with wobbly hands. The slight, uneven contact created the distinctive, rolling wave effect, an accidental discovery that became one of the most iconic patterns in traditional marbling.

- Our hand marbled paper features our maker’s mark, an authentic artisan detail, stamped on the reverse, along with possible pencil notes or paint from the marbling process. These markings are not visible from the front and reflect the authentic, artistic nature of our work.
- Sheets are not trimmed so you have the most usable space possible. However, sheets may show smudges or marks from drying clips along the top edges. This is a normal part of the artistic process and does not affect the quality or usability of the paper.
